Every once in awhile a unique opportunity comes my way through blink. I was asked to capture some moments for a go-getter who has started her own business venture. What fun capturing these little yogis having a positively fun time learning downward dog from our neighbourhood guru! Feel the Holiday Love.

The holiday season is officially upon us. Advent doors are swung ajar, sticky candy cane lips don our children's little smiles and hopeful little letters have been written to the North Pole. It is when we stop and admire the beautiful innocence of our children and the holly jolly belief that santa is on his way, that we can truly remember the magical, joyful moments that Christmas can bring. I had great fun with the seasonal holiday card sessions. This little sibling team is ready to take the holiday love vibe to a whole new level. Grab an eggnog latte and get your christmas on folks! fa la la la la….

Even Grinch would whistle a christmas-y tune to these little cuties! Try to find when Ben quietly 'breaks" the candy cane, oops…the look said it all. xo

better together

Some things are just better together. This little mirror-image partnership, was no different. Engaging little carbon copies, as different as they are the same. One thing was clear, their unique little love, is something to be treasured. Thank you for our giggly little adventure girls…it was an honor. xo

I got you. Isn't that all we really need to hear from one another? I had an afternoon out with a pair of siblings that seem to truly adore one another's company. Mom stepped in only for a moment, but the comfortable love and devotion this trio share, could not be more simply put, than…i got you.

Always. Baby.

Oh how I love babies. I was asked to design some baby shower invitations for a new mother-to-be, and one thing led to another and we were setting up a Maternity shoot. It was such a pleasure to watch this young couple on the verge of parenthood. The amused excitement and anticipatory smiles, the quiet, intimate bond they shared and the love and wonder they seemed to spill over that burgeoning baby bump was quite beautiful to be a part of. I never did have baby bump shots of my own, so it was a real pleasure to capture these tender moments for them. Baby Carter has since been born...welcome, welcome baby boy!

Back-to-School...again

Here we are once again, facing the end of idyllic summer days, back to routines and activities, carpooling and lunches. Oh and let us not forget the inevitable old-school, class photo day. I am not the biggest fan. Who knows why I spend the time teasing my daughters mane into something manageable, and bows and glitter in place, when ironically she usually has recess, lunch and a hefty kilometer run for good measure, before the infamous pose. At least now, my youngest has finished his kindergarten year, so for the first time, I managed not to cry on the first day of school! Our annual family tradition is back to school photo sessions, our way, that mark the beginning of a class year. Their toothy grin, a dashing haircut, a cute new pair of shoes that will walk them into a new exciting year and adventures away from home are journaled blink-style.  Here is a preview of a couple of those moments.
